What is Neurokinetic Therapy?

NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT®) is a cutting-edge movement assessment and corrective treatment system that identifies and resolves dysfunctional movement patterns stored in the brain’s motor control center. Instead of simply treating the symptoms, NKT seeks out the root cause of pain or dysfunction by testing how muscles and movement patterns are firing in coordination. Often, when pain occurs, it is the result of certain muscles overworking to compensate for other muscles that are weak, inhibited, or “shut down.” These compensations can stem from injury, repetitive stress, surgery, or poor movement habits.

During an NKT session, the practitioner uses specific muscle testing protocols to assess which muscles are compensating and which are underactive. Once the dysfunctional relationship is identified, corrective release techniques are applied to the overactive muscles, and the underactive muscles are reactivated through targeted exercises. By doing this, the nervous system “relearns” proper movement sequencing, creating lasting change that improves performance, mobility, and stability while reducing or eliminating pain. NKT is widely used by athletes, rehabilitation professionals, and manual therapists to enhance recovery and optimize function.

What is RAPID NeuroFascial Reset?

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (RAPID NFR) is a neurologically based, manual therapy technique that quickly reduces pain and restores function by targeting the nervous system’s role in soft tissue restriction. Unlike traditional massage or stretching, RAPID works directly with the brain to address the source of pain by stimulating a neurological reset of the fascia, muscles, and nerves. Pain often develops when the body creates protective tension in response to injury, repetitive use, or stress. This protective mechanism can lead to chronic tightness, reduced range of motion, and persistent discomfort.

In a RAPID session, the practitioner uses precise movement patterns combined with manual contact to engage both the nervous system and soft tissues simultaneously. This approach communicates directly with the brain to release restrictions, decrease pain, and restore fluid movement. Clients often experience noticeable relief and improved mobility within just a few sessions. RAPID is particularly effective for chronic pain conditions, repetitive strain injuries, postural dysfunctions, and even issues like headaches, frozen shoulder, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis. It is fast, effective, and non-invasive, making it an excellent tool for both rehabilitation and performance optimization.
